LO1: Setting up equipment

Shoulder mount setup :

This was one of the most straight forward pieces of equipment to set up because its so simple. There is one allen key bolt that attaches the camera to the mount. this makes it useful for on sight shoots due to it being light weight and portable.

Drone setup:

This video shows the quick steps involved in setting the parrot drone up. After the short calibration and initial set up is shown; the parrot is seen in action. The first thing is to connect it to the controller. This is done through the wifi hotspot that is on the drone. After you've connected your phone you can attach it to the controller and use the drone while using the phone as eye in the sky. From this is has shown me it is easy to set up and I would be comfortable piloting the drone.

Jib setup:

To set a jib up you must first attach the tripod plate onto the jib. After the jib and tripod are both connected and secure you attach the camera onto the jib. In order to get the balance you want you need to counter the weight of the camera with the weights located on the middle and end of the jib.
after the weights are calibrated you can use the jib.

Dolly setup:

Attach wheels to 3 of the tripod legs and attach the camera to set the tripod component up creating the dolly. Connect the corresponding parts of the track together and then place the dolly onto of the rails. You can now use the dolly and track.

Gopro setup:

Camera Settings:

The shutter speed is changed by turning a cog located on top of the camera on the right side. To decrees the shutter speed the dial is turned anti clockwise and to increase the shutter speed the cog is turned clockwise.

Next is the F-stop and that is changed by tapping on the F icon on the top row of the cameras display, larger aperture allows more light in and the small aperture settings will result in less lighting.
The ISO is changed by selecting the ISO setting situated towards the top right of the cameras display. Higher iso settings are used in low light conditions and lower iso settings are applied in bright conditions.

Next is changing the image quality, on the 4th row down and the symbol looks like an L. The raw setting has the highest quality followed by L, M and S. These stand for large, medium and small.

LO4: Manipulating the camera settings

When manipulating camera settings on set, camera 'A' and 'B' both adjusted shutter speed and aperture together. This was ...
